The Poo Power! Poster Competition encourages Australian students (K-12) to take their passion for poo to a new level by creating an engaging and eye-catching poster which will be used to educate, encourage and urge people pick up their dogs' poo.
The Competition provides students with an opportunity to be creative and start thinking about the environmental and social issues of dog waste - including stormwater and urban waterway health, renewable energy generation, and/or waste minimisation.
The competition is designed to reward and showcase excellence in creative poster messaging and design. Competition winners will have their work displayed on the Poo Power! website and Facebook page. The poster will be used to educate schools, young people and the wider public about dog poo issues within and beyond their local communities.
Create an A3 poster (landscape orientation) that catches the eyes of the judges and our Facebook community. As part of the Competition you are invited to submit a poster created by:
We encourage all entrants to visit the Poo Power! website and well as the education section of Melbourne Water's website to learn more about the themes of the Competition:
The competition closes at 5pm on Friday November 1st, 2013.
